Position: Facility aide

Duties: “I assist patrons/warriors when they enter the gym by checking their identification, answering questions and making reservations. I also sanitize and disinfect fitness equipment and maintain cleanliness of the center.”

Biggest accomplishment in your career: “I don’t think I have one yet, as my career is just getting started.”

Biggest personal accomplishment: “Getting to my senior year of college. I’ve been so hard on myself and didn’t think I would get this far. Only by the grace of God am I doing it.”

The aspect of your job that’s most challenging: “Right now with COVID-19, the biggest challenge is when patrons and Soldiers don’t adhere to our policies pertaining to wearing a mask.”

The aspect of your job you like the most: “There are a few things I really enjoy about this job, such as my co-workers and how we always make work fun. I also really enjoy fitness and health, so being in the gym is right up my alley. Plus, I love to help people.”

What’s the best thing your boss, a co-worker or customer has said about you? “My work ethic has really shocked everyone, especially at my age.”

What is your strength in working with customers? “I’m always willing to go above and beyond to help a customer in any way I can.”

What advice do you give to anyone stressing out because of loneliness, school or COVID? “I simply say, pray about it. Give it to God. Everything is in his control. If you aren’t religious like myself, I would say to try meditation or deep breathing, exercising and saying daily affirmations.”

Favorite saying and why: “Philippians 4:13, ‘I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me,’ is my favorite scripture because I am nothing and can do nothing without God.”

Favorite book and why: “Steve Harvey’s book ‘Act like a Success. Think like a Success.’ This book really taught me all about changing my mindset in order to succeed.”

One person you admire and why: “My mom, who is the strongest person I know.”

Worst fear: “So, of course, my worst fear is losing her because I love my mom to the moon and back and would do anything for her.”

If you could get a ‘do-over,’ would you take it and what would it be? “I wouldn’t take it because I believe everything happens for a reason.”

If you could do anything you wanted at this very moment, what and where would that be? “I would take a trip back home to Hungary to see family members I miss very much.”

When are you the most satisfied? “When I am around people with great energy and who make me laugh and smile consistently.”

What are you (and your family) doing to stay sane during this more stressful time than usual? “Eat, eat and eat some more. LOL!”

What’s the first thing you plan to do when things return to normal? “I want to take a vacation to anywhere in the world. I don’t care where. I just want to live my best life!”
