Job duties: “I teach the LNCOA Advanced Leaders Course and serve as the Government Travel Card manager for the organization.”

What do you love most about your job? “Being able to train and mentor young NCOs to be future Army senior leaders.”

What do you consider your greatest achievement? “I would definitely say raising my children to become honest, caring, respectful and young responsible adults.”

You were recently recognized for your professional dedication and off-duty volunteerism – how did that feel to earn the award? “I’m thankful and honored.”

What kind of volunteering do you do? “I serve as the senior vice commander for the Hopewell Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 637. I do Bingo for hospitalized Veterans at the VA facility. I organize and conduct yearly Memorial Day ceremonies and community service projects with my ALC students; and I’m a boat captain for a high school bass anglers activity.”

Why do you volunteer? “To give back to the community and/or those in need. Also, I try to be a positive model to my children and teach them to help others whenever possible.”

Where would you most like to live? “Somewhere secluded, out in the country where I could live off the land.”

When and where were you happiest? “I have a few of those moments, but I would say my children being born will always be the happiest.”

What is your marked characteristic? “I have a few – honesty, respect and dedication to success.”

What is your greatest fear? “Losing a family member.”

What is your greatest extravagance? “Going to watch the Dallas Cowboys play at the AT&T Stadium in Texas for the first time.”

Which talent would you most like to have? “To be able to heal the sick.”

What’s your motto? “If you do the right thing, you can never go wrong.”

Role model? “My father is definitely my role model. He is an example of what right looks like. He is honest, caring and hardworking, and he has molded me into the person I am today.”

What are your future aspirations? “Starting a non-profit organization to benefit first responders.”
