CSM Vidal speaks at ALU

Command Sgt. Maj. Eric J. Vidal I, Quartermaster Corps CSM, shares his thoughts with students of the Senior and Advanced Leader courses at the Army Logistics University Oct. 7. He conveyed a distinct message to train rigorously and maintain focus on how sustainment will look in the future. One of the key points of the Army’s vision is that it must be ready to conduct major operations and campaigns involving large-scale combat with division and corps-level maneuvers against near-peer competitors. The SLC and ALC courses – part of the Logistics Noncommissioned Officer Academy curriculum, gives mid-level NCOs “the education, technical and tactical skills, knowledge and experience needed to lead platoon/company size units.”
