On October 26,2013, the PMO and the Drug Enforcement Administration partnered to prevent medication abuse and theft by accepting expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The event yielded the turn in of 331 pounds of prescription medications andwas visited by 125 citizens. ASAP would like to thank PMO, KAHC, and ALU for their assistance. Individuals instrumental in the Prescription Drug Take-back effort pose next to the many containers of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs collected Oct. 25 at Kenner Army Health Clinic. The Provost Marshal Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration partnered in the event to prevent the abuse and theft of prescription drugs. It yielded the turn-in of 331 pounds of medications and 125 people visited the turn-in locations. KAHC and the Army Logistics University supported the effort.
