10 tackle G.I. Jane Challenge

Women who took part in the Family and MWR G.I. Jane Challenge pose at the rock wall near the Outdoor Recreation facility Sept. 28. The one-day event consisted of mountain biking, rock wall climbing and skeet shooting. “The main goal was for individuals to complete each of the challenges and focus on personal goals instead of competing between participants,” said FMWR Administrative Support Assistant Holly Allman, who participated in the event. “I love trying new things, and the G.I. Jane Challenge caught my attention. Everyone was so supportive and encouraging throughout the day. It was easy making new friends and having a great time.” Also pictured is Van Powroznik with Outdoor Recreation. Another event is planned for next year.
