Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center provides a broad scope of mental health services from the various departments that include the Department of Mental Health (Psychiatry and Psychology), Department of Social Work and the Department of Substance Abuse Services.

These departments work in conjunction with Fort Hood programs to provide mental health evaluation and treatment for Soldiers, some family members and retirees.
