Army Grill Sergeant ‘Throwdown’ Set to Air Sept. 23, 9 p.m.

FORT LEE, Va. (Sept. 17, 2009) – Chef Bobby Flay is on a secret mission: to challenge the absolute masters in different kinds of cooking – award-winning barbecuers, bakers, pizza makers and more.

Flay recently visited Fort Lee to challenge former Army Center of Excellence, Subsistence instructor Sgt. 1st Class Brad Turner for an episode of “Throwdown with Bobby Flay.” Turner is no stranger to the camera, having been filmed for several episodes of The Pentagon Channel’s “The Grill Sergeant.”

Flay’s “Throwdown” with Sgt. 1st Class Brad Turner is set to air Sept. 23, 9 p.m., on the Food Network. “Throwdown” airs at various times and days after the initial airing so check the Food Network Web site for more viewing opportunities.
