‘Rock with TRADOC’ at Holiday Concert
All community members are invited to the “Holiday Rock with TRADOC” concert set for Dec. 5, 7 p.m., in the Lee Theater. Admission is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. For a full evening of holiday fun, consider attending the concert after the Grand Illumination festivities on the Lee Club lawn starting at 4:30 p.m.
The concert is scheduled to last just over an hour. It will feature musicians from the TRADOC rock and brass ensembles. Similar holiday concerts are set for Dec. 10, 7 p.m., at Joint Expeditionary Base Fort Story-Little Creek, and Dec. 12, 7 p.m., at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. All are free and open to the public.

DES Santa Run Set for Dec. 8
The Directorate of Emergency Services’ annual Santa Run through Fort Lee’s residential areas is set for Dec. 8, 5:30-8 p.m.
An overview of the route is as follows: 266th and 244th Quartermaster Battalions, then 59th Ordnance Brigade. The first housing area will be Jackson Circle followed by Jefferson Terrace, Harrison Villa, Madison Park, Monroe Manor, Adams Chase and Washington Grove. The route will conclude with a visit to the 262nd QM Bn. Motorists are asked to be patient and not take unnecessary risks like attempting to pass the convoy unless directed to do so by police. Post residents should closely monitor their children as the procession passes through the housing areas.

Kenner Facilities Adjust Hours for Holidays
Kenner Army Health Clinic will close Dec. 19, noon - 2 p.m., for staff holiday luncheons. Additional closures are planned for Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Troop Medical Clinic 1 will be closed for the duration of the holiday block leave period, Dec. 20 - Jan. 3. The active duty clinic and TMC2 will support advanced individual training troops on those dates on a walk-in basis, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. For details, call 804-734-9057.
Beneficiaries needing after-hours care or authorization to visit an urgent care center should call the nurse advice line at 1-800-TRICARE and choose option 1. This also is the number for assistance during vacation travel. For emergency medical help, dial 9-1-1 or go to the nearest health facility that offers that service.
Civilian Flu Shots Available Dec. 10
Kenner Army Health Clinic will begin offering influenza vaccinations to DOD Civilians every Tuesday starting Dec. 10, 9:30-11:30 a.m., on the 2nd floor in the Occupational Health Clinic.
Beneficiaries must present a valid CAC when coming to the OHC.

PX Patrons Can Give and Get Back Dec. 6-10
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service has scheduled its next Give and Get Back sales event for Dec. 6-10. Shoppers can donate to Army Emergency Relief or the Air Force Assistance Fund at the register. For every $5 donated, shoppers will receive a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase at the Exchange.

AAFES Food Service Facilities Open to All
While Army and Air Force Exchange Service shopping privileges are open only to the military community, anyone with installation access can dine in Fort Lee Exchange restaurants or pick up grab-and-go fare from Express locations.
Army Regulation 215-8/Air Force Instruction 34-211 (I) lets anyone - including visitors, contractors and DOD Civilians - dine at any Exchange restaurant worldwide. The regulation also authorizes anyone to buy grab-and-go food and beverages from any Exchange Express location as long as the items are consumed on the installation.
