Kenner Pharmacy Plans Closure for Training
The pharmacy at Kenner Army Health Clinic – including all prescription and refill pickup windows - will be closed Jan. 16, noon - 3 p.m., for training.
Normal operations will resume Jan. 17. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. The refill window hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Regularly scheduled pharmacy closures are set for all Saturdays, Sundays, federal holidays and the first Thursday of the month, 1-2 p.m., also for training.

Job Seekers Invited to Company Connect Event
A Company Connect job fair – hosted by the Fort Lee Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance Program – is set for Jan. 15, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., in Room 125 of the Soldier Support Center, building 3400, 2609 C Ave.
It is open to active duty and retired military, veterans, reservists, National Guard personnel and DOD Civilians. The event will feature representatives from regional, national and governmental agencies with positions in law enforcement, logistics, maintenance, engineering and more. There will be networking and recruiting opportunities. Registration is suggested.

Kenner Announces MLK Weekend Schedule
Over the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, Kenner Army Health Clinic and Troop Medical Clinic 1 will be open with normal beneficiary care operations on Jan. 17 (military training holiday). Mosier Troop Medical Clinic 2 will be closed that day. All Kenner clinics and services will be closed Jan. 20, a federal holiday.

Registration Open for Homebuyer’s Course
Registration is open for a free First Time Homebuyers Workshop set for Feb. 25, 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., at the Soldier Support Center, building 3400, Room 125.
Participants will learn about personal finance, credit issues, qualifying and applying for a loan, how to receive a first-time homebuyer’s closing grant and more. The workshop is open to active duty military and their adult immediate family members, reservists, National Guard personnel, veterans, DOD Civilians and their spouses.

FLASC Accepting Scholarship Applications
The Fort Lee Area Spouses’ Club is accepting merit and community service scholarship applications for the upcoming academic year. Completed application packets should be submitted or postmarked by March 5.
Parents or applicants must be a full-year member of FLASC to qualify. Scholarship eligibility is open to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education as well as enrolled fulltime college students and military spouses attending college (full- or part-time).
