Kenner Sets Holiday Weekend Schedule
Kenner Army Health Clinic and Mosier Consolidated Troop Medical Clinic will be open Nov. 29 (training holiday) for patient care. Troop Medical Clinic 1 will be closed that day. All clinic facilities and services will be closed Nov. 28 for Thanksgiving.
To schedule appointments, call 1-866-533-5242. To request an authorization to visit an urgent care center after hours or when the clinic is closed, call the nurse advice line at 1-800-TRICARE and choose option 1. For an emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
NEC to Host Dec. 9 Tech Expo
The Network Enterprise Center will host a Tech Expo Dec. 9, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Clark Fitness Center, C Avenue. Admission to the event is free.
At this table-top showcase event, end users and other personnel can network with industry experts, collaborate, and view the products and services that industry partners have on the latest emerging technologies. A special senior leader’s tour will be conducted before the expo.

Electronics Added to Approved Layaway Products
As a service to holiday shoppers, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service has expanded its free layaway program to include computers, tablets, iPads and notebooks.
A 15-percent deposit is required to place these electronic items on layaway and merchandise must be picked up and fully paid for by Dec. 14.

Grand Illumination festivities set for Dec. 5
Community members and guests are invited to the installation’s tree-lighting ceremony Dec. 5, 4:30 p.m., on the Lee Club lawn at the corner of Mahone Avenue and Battle Drive. Admission is free and open to the public.
The event will feature music by youth carolers, free hot chocolate and holiday desserts, activities for children, a penguin fling game and much more for the whole family. A command group leader will flip the switch to officially light the festively decorated evergreen tree. Following that, Santa will arrive promptly at 5 p.m. on a post fire truck.
All adults, 18 years of age and older, entering the post will need to show a DOD identification card or driver’s license. Installation access gate hours and other visitor information is available at home.army.mil/lee/index.php/visitors.

AAFES Outlines Return Policy
To help its shoppers during the holidays, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service has extended its return policy for items purchased between Nov. 1 and Dec. 24.
The Exchange standard policy allows returns from 15-90 days after purchase with a sales receipt or online order confirmation depending on the item. The extension allows returns through Jan. 31.

Black Friday Hours at Exchange
Military community members can get a jump on Exchange Black Friday deals by visiting shopmyexchange.com as early as midnight Thursday, Nov. 28. Like most AAFES facilities, the Fort Lee main store and PXtra will be closed Thanksgiving Day, however, the Express Gas Station will be open from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
On Nov. 29, shoppers can take advantage of the brick-and-mortar store’s extended hours from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. On Black Friday, Exchange food service facilities will offer 15 percent discounts with a MILITARY STAR Card as well as free coffee. Also, from Nov. 28 - Dec. 5, there will be special discounts online and in-store for a number of products including select big-screen televisions, washer dryer pairs, electronics and other items.
