Parents Should Complete Impact Survey

Military-connected parents, including DOD Civilians, should be aware of the Federal Aid Survey cards being sent home by local school districts this week.

These cards are important as each one completed provides a federal dollar reimbursement for lost property tax revenue that would be generated if the military installation was not in place. Under the program, money goes back into school districts to enable the best education possible for children. One section of the survey pertains to civilian parents/guardians who are employed on federal property, the other pertains to active duty military families. To assist with processing, remember to: complete all applicable information; enter the name of the federal property (if applicable); sign and date the survey; return to your child's school the next day.

For questions, contact the child’s school administrative office or the Fort Lee School Liaison Officer at 804-765-3813.
