During the Jan. 17 installation town hall, Larry Constantine, Directorate of Public Works, Logistics, said by year’s end, the first new homes under the Residential Communities Initiative will be complete. As more than 140 homes in Madison Park are currently being demolished, a ground breaking ceremony is scheduled in that housing area today to recognize the RCI achievements in the post’s oldest housing area.
In March, the Post Field House will become an additional fitness resource during peak business hours. Cardio and weight training equipment will be allocated for the new location, according to Dolly Emory, Family and Morale, Recreation and Wellness. She also reported the recent relocation of the Family Advocacy programs to the Davis House, off Mahone avenue. The Soldier and Family Assistance Center, fully staffed to support Warrior in Transition units, will move from the Army Community Service location to building 8039 early March.

In that time period, 13 identification cards were confiscated, 20 invalid or improper vehicle decals were cited, as well as 37 expired temporary vehicle passes.
