Fort Lee Range Safety Reminder
The Department of the Army reminds the public that Fort Lee military ranges, impact areas and training areas are restricted to authorized personnel only. Fort Lee Range Operations reminds community members that any individual – military, civilian or contractor – who enters their training complex for any reason must stop at building 17170 to be checked in and to provide details of their visit.
This procedure is required to ensure the safety of all personnel entering the range area. All non-authorized individuals must stay away from danger zones for active ranges. They could contain unexploded munitions – also known as “duds.”
