For medical emergencies, go to the nearest ER or call 911.

KAHC Pharmacy Advisory

Due to the cold and flu season, Kenner Army Health Clinic expects pharmacy wait times will increase, especially during the peak hours of 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Filling new prescriptions could take an hour or more during high-demand periods. The best time to access the pharmacy is 6-9 a.m.

Other options include the TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy for ongoing non-acute medications. Information can be found on the clinic’s website at kenner.narmc.amedd.army.mil/default.aspx.

Providers also will hand-write prescriptions if patients prefer to have them filled at a network pharmacy and pay the deductible. Beneficiaries also can drop-off hand-written prescriptions and return the following day after 10 a.m. to pick them up.
