With a little help from his wife, Kurt Angle now holds all Total Nonstop Action gold as the heavyweight champion defeated Samoa Joe in the, Aug. 12, Hard Justice pay-per-view main event to add the X Division and tag team titles to his collection.

Late in the contest, Angle’s wife, Karen, teasing a divorce from Kurt during recent Impact episodes, swerved Joe by offering the “Samoan Submission Machine” a steel chair but then pulled the weapon away at the last minute allowing Kurt to hit Joe with the chair then score the pin.

Abyss, although bloody and beaten, emerged the winner of his steel cage “Doomsday” match and is now the No. 1 contender to Angle’s TNA heavyweight championship. The two are scheduled to clash at TNA’s No Surrender pay-per-view, Sept. 9.

Abyss is scheduled to meet his fans in Hampton Roads during a special two hour autograph event at Tidewater Sports and Collectibles in Chesapeake Square Mall, Sept. 22, beginning at 4 p.m. Log onto or call 465-8846 for more details.

Adam “Pacman” Jones made his TNA debut at “Hard Justice” following a wave of media and NFL scrutiny. An agreement was reached for Jones to appear following counter efforts made by the Tennessee Titans. He didn’t make contact with anyone or do anything to jeopardize his NFL contract, however, Jones was “attacked” in the looker room by an unknown assailant to further his storyline. A short time before, Jones had a verbal confrontation with Ron “The Truth” Killings, who was upset about his presence in TNA and warned “Pacman” to “watch his back.”

Expect an update on Jones, and possibly who attacked him, along with more fallout from Hard Justice during the Aug. 16 Impact on Spike TV.
